Acceptable use policy

VeraForge Acceptable Use Policy Effective date: 2026-08-01. This Acceptable Use Policy (the "AUP") is part of the VeraForge Terms of Service. Capitalized terms have the meaning given in the Terms. If you use the Platform, you agree to follow this AUP. A breach of this AUP is a breach of the Terms and can lead to removal of content, suspension of your Site, or termination of your account. 1. Prohibited content You may not upload, publish, generate, or transmit through the Platform any content that: • is unlawful under Canadian law or under the law that applies where your visitors are located; • is child sexual abuse material. We have zero tolerance for this content. We will remove it, terminate the account, preserve records as permitted or required by law, and report it to the appropriate authorities, including the Canadian Centre for Child Protection and law enforcement; • promotes, incites, or threatens violence, terrorism, or serious harm to a person or an identifiable group; • is hateful or harassing, targets a person or a group with slurs or dehumanizing language, or is designed to intimidate; • is malware, phishing, a scam, or otherwise deceptive, or that impersonates a person or an organization without authorization; • infringes another party's intellectual property, publicity, or privacy rights; • is pornographic or sexually explicit imagery, or has as its primary purpose the advertisement or provision of sexual services for payment. This ban does not cover lingerie, swimwear, tattoo, fitness, fine-art nude reference, or sexual-health educational content presented in a non-explicit manner; • depicts a person in a sexual or intimate manner without that person's consent, including so-called revenge imagery and synthetic or manipulated imagery of a real identifiable person; • is doxxing or otherwise exposes another person's personal information without their consent; • is unsolicited bulk messaging or comment spam, whether sent through the Platform or amplified by it. 2. Prohibited claims You are responsible for the accuracy of what you publish. You may not publish on your Site any: • false or misleading representation about your business, your products, your services, your prices, your certifications, your affiliations, or your results. Misleading advertising can violate the federal Competition Act; • fake, incentivized, or undisclosed testimonial or review; • fabricated credential, award, rating, endorsement, membership, or partnership; • claim that requires a professional license, a regulatory approval, or a substantiated study you do not actually hold. 3. Prohibited conduct You may not: • attempt to bypass, disable, or circumvent the Platform's safety systems, rate limits, quotas, or AI guardrails; • run prompt-injection attacks, jailbreaks, or other attempts to make Anvil AI produce content that violates this AUP or the Terms; • scrape the Platform or the Network at scale, or use the Platform to run automated abuse against third parties; • probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Platform or the Network without our prior written permission, or interfere with any security or authentication measure; • overload the Platform with excessive requests, storage, or computation, or use the Service in a way that materially degrades it for other users; • impersonate another person or organization, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organization; • squat on a reserved slug, on a name that infringes a third-party trademark, or on a name chosen to mislead visitors. 4. Your visitors' data If your Site collects personal information (for example, through its contact form or any form you add), you are the organization responsible for that information under Canadian privacy law. You must have a lawful purpose for collecting it, be transparent with your visitors about how you use it, respond to their access, correction, and deletion requests, and comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, for any commercial electronic messages you send, Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). VeraForge processes those submissions on your behalf and deletes them automatically after one hundred and eighty (180) days, so export anything you need to keep. If you receive a request from one of your visitors that relates to information collected through your Site, you are responsible for handling it. We will assist you where we reasonably can. 5. Enforcement We do not pre-screen Sites. To report a Site or content that you believe violates this AUP, email support@veraforge.ca with the URL and a short description of the issue. We may remove content, suspend a Site, or terminate an account for a violation, and we may do so without prior notice where a violation is severe or where continued availability would create real risk to the Platform or to others. When possible, we will give notice and a chance to cure. We may cooperate with law enforcement and preserve records as permitted or required by law. 6. Changes We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be posted on the Platform. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance of the updated AUP.
